About SeatPaper

SeatPaper is a free seating chart maker that runs entirely in your browser. Arrange tables, seat your guests, then export the plan or share a link to it.

What it does

You get one working surface: a room you can fill with round and rectangular tables, each with the number of seats you set. Your guest list goes into a tray beside it, and you seat people by dragging a name onto a seat or tapping a guest and then a seat. Moving, swapping and unseating work the same way.

Three layouts are ready to start from — wedding rounds, a classroom desk grid, and exam rows — but they are only starting points. Every table can be moved, resized and renamed, so the same canvas covers a reception, a classroom, an exam hall, a banquet or a conference room.

When you are done

Print / PDF produces a sheet with the plan and a per-table guest list; Export PNG gives you an image for a plan or an email; Copy link packs the whole chart into a link that opens it on another device. Your work is saved to your browser as you go, so a chart is still there the next time you open the site.

What it does not do

There are no accounts and no server-side storage. Nothing you type — guest names included — is uploaded. That is not a promise about how a browser works in the abstract: the chart genuinely lives in your device's own storage, and a share link carries the chart in the link itself.

Why it is free

The site is supported by Google AdSense. Two ad positions exist — one below the tool and one inside the article — and they are deliberately kept out of the tool itself and out of the first screen, so nothing sits between you and the chart. Advertising may use cookies to choose and measure what you see; the privacy page says exactly what that means.
